Rules Important must read!!!!!!

1. General

1.1
Asking to be a staff member will get you one warning. Repeated asking or begging for staff capabilities will get you suspended. Unending begging and/or asking (whether polite or not) will get you banned from the board with a .000000000000001% chance, if even that much, of returning.

1.2
You cannot advertise your site by PMing members or emailing them. That is considered spamming, which is not allowed. If we receive information that says you advertise via PM without consent, you will be banned.

1.3
Any mentioning of rape IC, or any similar or related act of sexual violence IC, will not be tolerated. We are a lenient board, but the afore mentioned actions are vile, and will pass under a zero-tolerance basis. Should you want to have your characters past involve said action, you may, but in limit. No excess detail, as well as no excess usage. Merely mentioning it happened is more then enough. If you should, purely for the sake of storyline progression, wish to have that kind of event happen to your character, please do not publicly advertise. Request as discreetly as possible the aide of someone who would willingly participate.

Staff Members reserve the right to overrule a written, or even unwritten, aspect of the site, such as, but not limited to, the consequences for a member's disobedience. If a staff member feels it is necessary to give a worse, or lighter punishment, they can, no questions asked. This goes for other rules as well.

Swearing is acceptable on this board. In life, some crazy things happen and one usually doesn't keep to their "oh my lollipops and gumdrops!" when they're being stabbed. That doesn't mean that you can drop the f-bomb in every sentence though. Be respectful.

No harassing, or 'flaming', another member of the site. Especially not a staff member. It is extremely rude, and inconsiderate of other members, and will not be tolerated.

Do not spam or post one liners. If you do any of the above, you will receive a warning. Double Posting will also receive a warning, though some situations allow Double Posting to occur.

Adult threads are NOT allowed, anyone caught in an adult RP should be banned immediately as these thread could have our forum shut down by Forumotions. However, it is perfectly alright to imply that an adult situation is about to take place, then leave the thread hanging there, or have it fade to black (FTB). Whether or not the members in the thread choose to continue playing out the scene in PMs or over a messenger service is completely up to the members them selves.

When you wish for a ruling on a thread, jutsu, etc then post in the correct board to get one. Contacting a staff member by PM, IM, Cbox or any other way in order to get an official ruling is forbidden and grounds to be given a warning.

No advertising in the Cbox. Also, if you have a site of your own, kindly refrain from discussing it in our Cbox. The Cbox is for this site, kindly do your recruiting elsewhere.

Play nice, anyone found being an ass, making fun of, or fighting with other RPers will be banned from the board.

Most templates, systems, rules, and ideas are © Konaha Naruto RP, or respective locations of which shall be mentioned in said locations. While you maintain creative licensing over your original creations, and can take them where ever you may like, templates, rules, systems, and ideas can not be taken. If we find a site that has our creations, we will contact Proboards, and inform them of the infringement. When asked if you read the rules, reply with 'Banana Pie'.

2. Character

2.1
Every member that signs up MUST change their user name to match that of their character's, or that of an alias. The name must be of Japanese origin, or at least Japanese sounding

2.2
For this rule, if you signed up as something like "senorninja", you may go to the [Profile] button, and click Modify Profile. You may change your * Display Name to match that of your character's.

2.3
Each member can have as many characters as they can handle. We don't want to limit creativity.

2.4
Unlimited characters is a privilege, not a gift. Use it wisely. Once you have more then three(3) characters, please make a post with Links to all of your characters.

2.5
Once you have multiple characters, a secondary limitation is put in place. You may not use your own characters to advance other characters. This includes gathering information with one and giving it to the other, bringing one in to help in a battle, killing one off to gain power, or anything along those lines.

2.6
When you post your profile, you MUST wait until your profile is Accepted until you start role-playing. Failure to comply with this rule will result in one or more warnings.

2.7
When you apply, the length and detail, and overall quality of your profile is appreciated. It will not, however, give you the right to be "uber". You earn no special bonuses via your application, save the ability to be accepted. If you want to earn your way into power, it must be done through IC happenings.

Custom characters are not allowed to have jutsu that can only be learned by certain canon characters.

When you amke your character only make do not post anything extra in it, it will be locked once it is Accepted if you need something like he/shes older now you will have to ask a staff member and they will let you modify your acount other things like jutsus we will do one our own. so dont worry and no posting in other peoples character posts and etc.

The Following jutsu, as well as jutsu that emulate these jutsu, are forbidden.

Sharingan

Rasengan

Chidori/Raikiri

Any of Gaara's sand jutsu that he can use because of Shukaku

Rin'negan

Bijū/Jinchūriki, and Lesser Demons are NOT allowed at this time. Should a position for a Bijū/Jinchūriki become available, applications will be accepted at that time.

2.12
When creating a shinobi, you are allowed, but not required, to give your character a chakra nature. Academy Student characters do not get Chakra natures. Genin, and Chūnin characters are allowed 1 chakra nature. Jōnin are allowed 2 Chakra Natures. Genius Jōnin, Lord, and Lady ranked characters are allowed 4 Chakra Natures. Kage level characters are allowed to register 5.

2.13
If you begin to RP a canon character, stick with that character. Just because someone you like opens up and becomes available, that does not mean you can jump to them. It leaves gaps.

2.14
No long lost relatives of canon characters, that's just corny. If you think you have some kind of special circumstances PM your idea to one of the admin for staff approval.

2.15
No custom Uchiha. They were killed according to he Manga. Should something be revealed that changes that, this rule will be modified.

2.16
Godly, unstoppable, all knowing omnipotent beings are strictly prohibited. Everyone can be beaten. Now, if you cover your bases good enough, and can back your character up, this rule can feasibly be bent, but not to a large extent.

2.17
Do not state in your profile that your custom character is the boyfriend/girlfriend of a canon character. If you want your character to have a relationship with a canon character you're going to have to RP out the relationship forming with the other character.

2.18
No creating custom Akatsuki characters. If Akatsuki needs members, and the staff is in agreeable terms, Akatsuki will scout and recruit IC characters.

2.19
No applying for dead canon characters. If you don't know if a character died in the series, you aren't up to date enough to be playing that character anyway. Like wise, characters whose clan has been shown to be extinct, such as the Kaguya clan, are not allowed to be applied for. NO KAGUYA. NO SENJU.

2.20
If you register a canon character, you need to write out their history yourself instead of copying it from another site. If you do borrow from anothersite, or another person, cite your work.

2.21
You MUST get permission from an admin to register a Daimyo, Kage, Lord, or Lady. There are only five villages with a Kage: Konoha, Suna, Kumo, Kiri, and Iwa. Any other village leader has the title Lord/Lady. There is only one Kage, Lord, or Lady for each village.

2.22
If your profile is incomplete, be smart and put INCOMPLETE in the title until you are done. (1 week = 7 days to finish from date posted)

You can not RP as a member of a clan that has not been named. So you can not be in Sakon's Clan, Kidoumaru's clan. etc

2.24
The only ninja villages are the ones on the site. So you can not make any mention of a ninja village in your history except those. If you wish to add mention of a village not on the board, please seek staff approval.

2.25
To prevent outrageous happenings, an Age Limitation on ranks has been put into place.
Genin: age twelve and up (12+)
Chuunin: age fifteen and up (15+)
Anbu/Hunter Nin/Special Jounin: sixteen and up (16+)
Jounin/missing-nin/hunter-nin captain/ANBU captain: age eighteen and up (18+)
Sennin: Thirty five and up (35+)
(Unless earned IC)

3. Posting

3.1
God-modding is inevitable, this is a fact. But, certain types of god-modding can easily be stopped. Therefore, we will allow some, but nothing irrational.




EX. Good Example:
Naruto watched as Sasuke's knee aimed for his own gut. Naruto quickly jumped as much as possible, the knee connecting with his feet, giving him a push up to avoid the brunt of the attack.


EX2. Bad Example:
Naruto watched as Sasuke's kick came torwards his gut. Naruto quickly grabbed Sasuke's leg and broke it, avoiding the attack.




3.2
When posting, please refrain from making posts solely intended on raising your post count or making your character look "cool". We don't think it's cool at all. If you do not belong in a thread and make posts that only benefits your character and not everyone in the thread, then leave that RP as quick as possible before you get warned.

3.3
There is a minimum limit of fifty(50) words per post. If it's a few under, that's okay, but no less than thirty(30). You will have two or three freebies, then you will start getting warned. Bascially, please try your best to make atleast two three-seven(3-7) sentenced paragraphs. That is the easiest way to make sure you meet the requirement, or atleast post enough to look like you reach the minimum.

3.4
If you learn something OOC about another group/person/etc., you CANNOT use it IC unless given permission by the info target. Doing so is called Meta-gaming, and will recieve punishment. OOC info and IC info are not to be abused. Failure to comply will result in a warning, or worse.

ok that 30 word minimum and 50 word maximum is a little bit of a power abuse I mean most people when they post can't get 30 words without rambling on like I am currently trying to do to meet 30 words I mean who always has THAT much to say in one post seriously

ok still the 30 minimum preferably 50 words is a stupid rule on my site which is helping you get your users the shortest post accepted is 3 characters long because forumotion specified that and I don't know how to change it I want to make it so the minimum is 1 character long so in response to "All who agree say 'I'" someone can only put "I" not "I " as their post do you get what I'm saying
